***Kizomba proficiency required to attend (Team 1 or similar)Special topics
Every month we’ll offer a Sunday Dance Snack: a chance to hyper focus on a special Urban Kiz topic with all your pals. Together as a group we’ll break down what techniques the topic requires and work together as a class to drill the new concepts until they’re ready to take home and refine for the next social.
This month, we’ll explore how to vary your upper body movements using lyricism - hitting those looooong notes and the staccato ones to really match your movement to the music. While this class will focus on lyricism forDouceur (the slow stuff 🫠), concepts can also be applied to your Urban Kiz dancing overall! Follows, expect lots of tips for matching energy, controlling movement, and being relaxed to accept the smaller movements of Douceur!
This class will always be just $20 up until two days before the event when it increases to $25. Come hone your craft with us! This is an open level opportunity, although we do recommend that you have taken at least a drop-in Kizomba or Urban Kiz class to best access the content of this month's class.
